Realigning my Trading Focus

At this stage, my forays into the US stock market is not giving a good return, compared to my activities in the currency market. I dunno, somehow I find myself more comfortable trading forex than stocks.

So, I have decided to stop trading stocks and put all of my capital to work in the forex market 100%. I will now stop updating this blog, until I decide once again to jump back into stocks.

For now, it's adios!

Clue-less

The market is not showing its hands as to where it really wants to go. It looks like it hasn't quite make up its mind.......

........and that means I will continue stay in cash and not be a hero and attempt to act like Superman standing in front of a hard-charging freight train.

Back to the cave.

Market Analysis

My remaining Long position (ATR) was stopped out last night for a small loss. I'm OK with that, as I think the market conditions are no longer favoring Long trades.

The NASDAQ has now broken the consolidation pattern, and looks set to be heading south. I will now sit on my hands and see what it wants to do. I may want to pick up some Short positions, but let's just wait and see.

Trailing stop hit, for a small loss.

Over & Out!

I've closed all of my open positions in the market. However, I will still be looking for new Long setups for the time being. However, I may be a bit more selective, as market conditions have changed - although not necessarily indicating the start of a bearish move.

Market Analysis

The NASDAQ has just broken the ascending trend line, on increasing volume. It may be getting into consolidation, or start a new downtrend - who knows?

But clearly, the market conditions have changed, so I need to adapt my trading strategies as well.

I will stop taking new Longs, and pretty much liquidate all my open positions, when the market opens in the next trading session.

I'll sit on my hands and just see what the market wants to do next, before jumping back into the market.

I hate the almost deafening non-responsiveness of this stock, so I cashed out at a minimal draw down. I would rather put my money to work elsewhere.
